appraiser/PPIer Lance Coren?

Has anybody used a well-regarded automotive appraiser/inspector named Lance Coren, who is in the Fresno area but works widely throughout the West? (He specializes in Ferraris but is broadly experienced.)

I'm writing about why it's a good idea to get a professional PPI of any valuable collector car, and I'm looking for anybody who has had a positive experience, particularly with Coren but also with any other professional PPI inspector, while buying a collectible 911. I'd like to hear if you didn't buy a car and were saved a lot of grief because a PPI turned up mechanical or authenticity issues, or bought a car with greater confidence because a professional went over it before the deal was sealed.
