zappp+sparks-what did I kill?

I was tightening my CV bolts, kinda in the dark and arced the starter lug with the tool. Car won't start now. I am thinking I blew the points through the ground, any ideas??

74 911 with points and MSD.

"Car won't start now."

Elaborate: Won't turn over or won't fire?

Were the keys in the ignition and the ignition on?

Keys out of car. It turns over strong, just won't fire.

I apparently fried my MSD box. Everything else checked out ok, so I installed my original CDS and it works, gotta re gap plugs, and reset timing but it runs.

Glad to hear you got it diagnosed. Sorry to hear it happened. If you have the chance, let us know if you experience any difference in driveability, starting etc now that you are switching. Thanks.

I reset the dwell, timing and changed the spark plug gap to spec. No problems at all, or noticeable difference in power.
