Need a Coil For My Early S Motor - MSD Blaster II OK?
Hello again. Any early 911 guys out there with MSD coils in their cars? I have the stock 3-pin Bosch CDI ignition system with a stock black coil. I want to install a new working coil to verify whether I might have a degrading coil. I also would then have one as a spare to carry with to RRIII. I am trying to track down a high RPM cutout problem and this is the last ignition thing to change.
I really don't want to spend the money on the Brazilian Bosch coil, so want to know if any of you have used the MSD Blaster II coil with a stock ignition system. Or... Does anyone have a suggestion on what coil to use other than the Brazilian coil? Thanks for the help.

Yes, use the MSD High Vibration Blaster II. The turns ratio is similar to the original Bosch Black coil and it fits in the bracket. It's a little longer.
