Ideas for securing the factory spare tire pump?

I have been wondering if anyone has come up with a good way to keep the origonal 12 volt tire pump from flying around in the trunk during spirited driving.

Mine is just sitting up there towards the nose on the passenger side in it's plastic case. But I know it's bouncing around, and flinging back and forth when cornering, and over a bump it could fly up and dent the hood from the inside.
Just had the car painted and really don't want to see that happen.

I've thought of drilling a hole in the case in the handle area and tieing it to the jack with a bungie cord.
Just wondering what some of you guys have done...

thanks.
