Not sure where the paint code is located on a '74; on my '85 there is a paint code emblem attached to the right side of the front trunk. It is under the carpet near the hinge.

Found the color code - 336. :) I'm so psyched. That color is AWESOME! I have no idea why the idiot P.O. decided to eliminate that and have a half-assed paint job sprayed over it (over the seals, all the chrome bits, etc. Black looks okay from 10', but I'm going to restore her to her original Mexico Blue glory. I might even drive her south of the border on a little vacation to Baja when it's all done to celebrate. It'll be a long road, but no doubt worth it.
