photoshop help please - interior

Sorry, I know some do not view these as very technical, but until there is a exterior and/or interior part of the forum, this seems to be the only place to get a decent response.

I have been debating an idea ever since I got my car a year ago. I need to redye the interior in my 83 cabriolet. It is decent, but getting worn in a few spots where the most contact is made. My car is Ruby Red with the Grey-Beige interior. What I would like to see is if someone that is good on Photoshop, could make the following changes to my interior photo. The first photo is what I am thinking about doing, and the next is a clean canvas. I want the whole interior black except for the areas I have the black scribbles on, leave them grey beige.

Thanks in advance...

David,

Boot jokes are OK. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves every now and then!

Thanks for the quick work. Could you do one more thing? I actually only wanted the seat insert areas left beige, with the rest being black.

Thanks...

Thanks

not that you asked, but since it's a public forum

I like James first seat treatment better. It seems to flow better and look less 80's.

I really like the two tone interiors, and many new cars are getting that treatment (such as M3's), so I wouldn't really call it 80's. I have an all black interior which is really dark, and I've thought about doing this myself (in my case red/black as I have a guards red car), but instead I got two tone seat covers (not wet okole's, but similar). I have been amazed by how many folks (both porsche and general population) have commented on how good they look. Though I must say that I have a slantnose, which IS classic 80's!!!

not to open myself up for further "encouragement"

I have also wondered about using the first rendition of Jerry's, but also having every other horiszontal section on the seats and on the main part of the upper door panel , be black as well. I remember seeing some ferrair seats like this once. And to go even further, I would consider also putting in the little brass ring vents as well. Just me. I am see it and hate it as much as the next guy though. Feeling adventurous Jerry...

Like this Dino? I REALLY like Jerry's 1st chop job the best, makes the seats look like a nice set of aftermarket sports seats. In the 2nd, the tan on the headrest section just does not look "right"

Yes, like that Dino... I agree with you about the headrests also...

I am thinking something more like these though with just the small gap between the stitches on the pleats is black also, like these ferrari seats...
