Wink 86 heated seats do not work

I have a pair of two way power seats with heat. Power works for the the two-way but the heat portion does not work in each seat--what are the odds that its the relay?

I am and will continue to trouble shoot, but wanted to ask since 911 have well documented know issues and I wanted to see if this is one of them.

We are entering Fall here in southern cal

mine has heated driver's seat that does not work. I have read prevous posts that entailed going over each heat wire looking for a short or break. Sounded tedious but effective. I have not bothered myself as my car is mostly stock and the heater works like a nuclear reactor.

Any chance the power for the heated seats is a seperate circuit and just not connected?

Sounds like it is time to get out the ol' circuit tester and check the heat leads and such.

The 86 seats that I have a powered by two leads--1 coming from the number 1 fuse and the second coming from the number 2 fuse.

I purchased a wiring diagram for the an 86.

Yes, it looks as if I will need to test power and such within the system

Thanks for the input

Brad
