need value of 1981 911SC

I've been absent from this site for a while, so let me say it's great to be back!

I own a 1981 911SC that's a bit sick. At this point, I'm considering dumping it and starting over with another 911 (or, gasp, a 951!).

Can any of you experts lend a hand in determining a value AS IS.

PROBLEMS:
1. Broken head stud on cylinder 6. I believe cylinder is low on compression.
2. Leaking brake master cylinder.
3. Crack windshield.
4. Car has NO RUST, but paint is faded in a few places.
5. Front seats (tan leather) are ripped from sun and age.
6. Dash has a few small cracks from sun.
7. Lastly, the throttle pedal got stuck at WOT in 1st gear. Rev limiter worked, but the valvetrain is making a hell of a racket and the car is down on power.

I'm torn between fixing all of these problems (including at least a top-end teardown to determine what the overrev damaged), or selling and grabbing someting else with less problems. I'm considering a 944 because I'd like to stay in the Porsche family, but can't currently afford to fix the 911.

Any help would be great!

$8K would be my guess. Here in CA, one could buy a SC with way less issues for $11K.

Broken head stud/s? Replace them all! You might as well do a reseal "while you're there." Good shop gets at least $3,000 + to replace all the exhaust studs with a reseal. A little less if the intake studs are steel and not pulled/broken.

$8,000? Even if the engine needs a top-end rebuild? This car would make a great DE/track car for the right person. I'm just weighing my options: Start over or hold on to the car until I can afford to fix it.
