911 oil leaks
I guess this is tech related, most know that 911s leak somewhat.
Here is the million dollar question, anyone know how to get the oil stains removed from a brick driveway, short of steam cleaning??????? |

if the spots bug you could consider changing your parking position daily to go for the treated concrete look. In my case that would ensure a uniform color within a few short weeks.

I've had good results with mineral spirits on concrete. Should work on brick also?

I used Kitty Litter and really SCRUBBED it into the stains. That removed the bulk of the oil. Then I swept it up and used laundry detergent to get the rest. Worked well.

I've been successful using Simple Green, water and a stiff brush. If it's really stubborn, try kerosene but be careful it will lighten the color of the brick.
I use a water heater pan like this: ![]() Cheap (about $8.00) and big enough to catch all the drips.

if its a small enough area, swap out the bricks for new ones. If they are like concrete pavers they are not cemented in, they are held down by the sand between them. Pry the stained ones out and put new ones in. reapply some sand to lock them in.

Castrol makes this awesome grease/oil cleaner. Look for it in a purple spray bottle.
I had one of my son's buddies stained brand new concrete with some nasty black oil. This stuff took it right out. I also use it on my concrete pavers in the driveway, works great. After getting out all the old stains, using the purple stuff and a powerwasher, I then sealed the pavers. Now any oil can be wiped up with a paper towel or rag, nothing penetrates the sealer.

After you clean it, fix the leaks.
