Carrera 3.2L mph per 1000 RPM in fifth

Does anyone know what speed a european Carrera 3.2L runs per 1000 RPM in fifth gear? My speedo is broken, so I can't check it myself...

From memory I know my euro 3.2 is doing almost 120 kmph at 3000 rpm.

Sorry not exactly what you are asking for but at least something. Am at work so I can not look it up. I think there are plots of that in the owners manual ??

2,000rpm should be 80km/h. 2800 should be 100km/h

I think 1400 or 1200rpm is 60km/h?

USA cars have a gear chart in the owner's manual. Maybe you can find one. Or you can find a Civic Hybrid on the highway and read it's digital speedo display as you drive alongside.

Paul,

My US 87 is at 3400 when at 80 mph.

May I suggest borrowing a handheld navigator.

I read someone was calculating their speed with the navi. I thought I give a try and it seems to be right on by plus or minus MPH or so.

Drive at 1000 RPMs for a few seconds then press reset and it will calculate how fast you are going.
