Non widebody slantnose?!!!

Anyone seen a slim body slantnose? I can't recall this version being factory.

Why do they always say V six?
It actually looks better than I thought it would.

The ad doesn't claim to be a factory car...just all steel. Some opted to do the conversion up front and leave the rear out as it was much less costly.

It is definitely non factory.

I think it looks pretty darned good! All steel is good, and it appears to be nicely converted in the pics (pics can be very deceiving, especially digital pics).

I remember a blue one up here in Jacksonville Fl. in the early 90's. Thought it was odd looking.

Looks pretty good but the headlight covers are off. That's where lack of attention to detail gives many conversions away.

There is a pic of a SC bodied slant in Bruce Anderson's book.....

It looks okay, certainly different.

Cheers

it doesn't look terrible.... I'm not a big fan of wide rears at the best of times. that car looks nicely proportioned.

I dunno, it looks better than I was expecting but a "non wide body slant nose" is like having an orgasm out of one nut...

I saw this car driving around town a few months back it looked pretty good. I would offer to go looke at but would probably try to buy once I saw it.

That is just what I was thinking of saying... lol...

Looks nice from the photos. Price is not that bad either if all checks out well with the engine and tranny... and I pretty sure they will be able to negotiate somewhat from that price...

I must stay far away from it...

ANY slantnose just looks wrong! Ruins the balance of the car.

IMO.

I recall a reprint from one of the Car Magazines in the late 80's that actually showed a non wide body slant coming off a Porsche assembly line at the factory. It was a hand out from the Porsche dealer! Too many years for me to remember, but I have always loved the slant nose. The close kinship with the racing 935's of that time made them as remarkable as the closest car to a road
going race car.
