1972 RSR color
You'll think I am nuts but I have just bought this in a moment of weakness....
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am going to have it e-coated and then painted. What colour should it be? I love Gulf Blue but my good friend Marting Gibson that lives just around the corner is having one built and I think it should be a little different? Can you please post pics of your fav colour 72 RSR? |

i vote for conda green with black detailing, that tickles my fancy right now.
everybody seems to do gulf blue right now - go for a weird retro special porsche colour instead (like the lime above) they're so cool. but its your choice - something that makes you smile everytime you open the garage door ![]() just my 2 cents.

Matteo, hasn't told you that you're out of control? And this is totally a good thing. Sweet a new thread for me to follow!

Matteo, here are some RSR's to consider. I do not think there is a bad color for one of these cars. I do tend to like the '70's saftey colors as they tend to pop, which is what these car deserve.

Make it a Slate Grey RSR and pretend its a special order car (because it wasn't an original RSR color)... would look great! And one of a kind (I think)

I vote Martini livery.
But RSR's are everywhere and are getting boring. won't someone build the ultimate 934?

Yes - he's completely nuts, but nothing that a good old British straight jacket won't sort out once he's completed this project.
My vote goes for the Samson RSR in Black & Gulf Orange: ![]() Good one mate. Martin 911SC 3.6 (boring old Gulf Blue RSR pending) |

Right on Matteo!!
Go for Slate Gray. You already have a bright one, and Slate Gray will look mean on an RSR. |

changed my mind - conda green or mexico blue...
conda green is amazing anyday of the week but mexico blue is really unseen and thats cool. has a retro odd rare beauty to it. (This below aint an rsr but anyway...) what's your thoughts - what do you lean towards? it's your car ![]() colour is the most fun bit if we're not going the original route.

I love that project. I had toyed with the idea of picking it up myself and am glad to see that someone adament about it has chosen to pursue the RSR dream. I think there's nothing like the tangerine with black lettering. Please don't put 993 mirrors on it.
