				Drainage of Turbo Wing

I have the tea tray type turbo wing on my SC that I believe was an addition by the original owner. Whenever it rains heavily or I wash the car, water collects in the space below the grill opening of the original flat grill location where the turbo wing meets the hatch. I have to open the hood to dump the water (which gives my engine a nice bath). Does anyone with a non factory installed wing have this problem? Any solutions for drainage. My guess is that the turbo hatch has a larger opening that matches up with the wing so water doen't collect anywhere.

				Check the seal

The trick is to leave a very small gap in the seal at the bottom of the tail. Water will drain out completely as it's bowed somewhat toward the center. I installed the tail on my car and left that gap just for that reason.

Can you elaborate on how you left the gap. Some water drains out of the seal, but not enough to get rid of it all.
