rough tdc positions of camshaft
What is the rough starting out position for both the cam shafts left and right before you do the cam timing, and with the engine at Z1, TDC number 1?

The keyways cut into the cams for the woodruff key should be at the 12 o clock position. For stock cams the stampings on both cams will be right side up. The flats at the ends of the cams used for rotating the cams, will be vertical. The right side cam will be just opening the #4 intake valve. The left side cam valve at #1, both valves will be closed.
