3.2 engine management problems
Hi,
My 3.2 stalled whist on the road yesterday. Wouldn't start for quite a while. Then turned over easily. Idled well for 30 sec then it began to self rev. 2k, then 3k then 4k rpms and then it would cut out. Apart from faulty DME relay could it be anything else? Simon

The DME or more commonly known as Motronic. It is your engine management box under the driver's seat. You have a heat failure on one or more of the transistors is my guess. At least that was what mine was.

DME relay for sure. The DME itself is extremely durable, and unlikely to cause your problem.
