16x6's instead of 7's on front of SC?

Ok, I know that the last of the Carreras had 6's stock with 8s on the rear as an option.
I have 7's and 8's now on 205/245.

Would there be a significant donwgrade in understeer by going to a 6 at the front?

Just thinking out loud.

My car came with 6s and 7s. I replaced with 7s and 8s. Never felt a huge difference, but never ran the 6s with the 8s, although many here do run the the 7s with 9s. Seems like that would be a similar configuaration.
