Injectors stick !!! Help

I bought 3.2 engine not being used for a couple of years. It turned out 3 from 6 injectors do not work. Is there a way to make them work again ? I'd rather not buy new :)

Do a search here on the Board. There are companies that will clean and calibrate your injectors.

Otherwise, try running a couple of bottles of Techron thru the system and see if it cleans up the injectors.

We use RC Engineering and they are very good.

I think I read somewhere: The 3.2's batch fire 1/2 of the injectors at a time. Could it be that your not getting a signal on one bank? Might check for injector signal, or, try switching one of the known working injectors with one of the suspect injectors.

Hope this helps,

I've had good success freeing sticking old injectors with carburator cleaner and 12V jolts.

Thanks! I checked the signal and it's fine. I put injectors into pot full of STP's injectors cleaner. I leave them there for next 48hrs. We will see what happens.

I just had the same problem, we cleaned, tapped them and did the 12V jolts. Have been running alot of injector cleaner through the system, they seem to be working.
