CIS book question

i would like to spend time this winter learning about the CIS system. There is nothing wrong with mine but I would like to be prepared.

Does anyone have experience with this book? how is it?

I have:
How to Understand, Service and Modify Bosch Fuel Injection & Engine Management by Charles O. Probst
and
How To Tune & Modify Bosch Fuel injection by Ben Watson

If I were to do it over again I'd buy the first and skip the second.
