Converting to Vented Discs on Early 911/912

I have just purchased a 67 912 project. It has been setting in a garage since 1979. The rear brakes are rusted pretty badly. Can the vented discs and calipers from the 69-77 911 be adapted to the rear of this car? Thanks for your help.

Tom

Yes, but it takes some work. It really isn't necessary, IMHO. If you do it, all you will run into is a caliper to rotor alignment problem that can be resolved a couple of ways. I'll bet you can find better ways to spend your money.

BTW, I converted a 914 to vented rear rotors and everyone asked why. It's not like I had a 3.6 in the thing, I had the 2.0 411 with about 130 HP. Sound familiar?
