glove box jammed closed
Any suggestions on how to open the glove box on a 79 SC. The lock is working on the cylinder and it rotates, but the door is jammed. I tried a wire hanger to access behind the cylinder but I can't seem to get it to release. Anybody out there with some ideas to get this door to open short of drilling the cylinder?

remove the lower dash-knee pad to reveal the bolts that hold the hinge of the glove box door to the metal frame of the dash....un-do these bolts and remove the entire glove box door giving you access to the tempermental lock....
