torque for Heim joint bolt on Rear sway bar
My car has a cap screw that goes thru a Heim joint and fastens into a bolt on the spring plate. It takes an 8 mm Allen socket.
Anybody know the correct torque for this thing before I look up a generic value? |

Randy,
I presume this is the modified eccentric. When I did mine, I used a grade 12.9 cap srcew and gave it a big "jerk" to tighten. 4 years later, no issues. Who needs a stinkin' torque wrench?
