pass window stopped
Hey guys. I was coming home from work today with my windows down. Now my passenger window wont come up. It goes down just fine but wont come up now. Neither switch is working. the drivers switch feels like its broken but the passenger switch should still work right? Please help, I dont have a garage so its sitting outside.

It can be the driver or passenger switch that's causing the problem so you'll need to check all. I keep a spare good one for testing. For a quick fix, you could move switches around until you get the window up.

thanks. From what I gather, if one switch goes bad, both switches wont work cause they feed off of each other right? I was able to jumper the wires to get the window up. Guess I need to order a switch.

Try disconnecting the driver side switch from the wires. Do it with the battery disconnected. Then try the pass. switch. If no go do the reverse trying the drivers side. If no go then you probably need to remove the door panel and have look.

Happened to me last week...i got a new switch and everything worked...if one switch goes bad then it will effect the other switches. Also got a new switch from my shop and I am not happy with the look, it's the newer type switch. For now it works
