It looks beige gray to me, but I could be wrong. Is there a paint color code plate on the A-pillar when you open the driver's door?

Sahara Beige would be my guess, but monitors don't always show true color...

The plate on the frame was rusted and not all there... hence the problem. The car is currently being preped for paint now, and I am running low on time. Here are some more pictures of the actual car. Do you know if the factory could tell me based on the serial number?

Sahara Beige
I think your car is Sahara Beige . Go to" www.914world.com " and find the thread by me on Rennsport at Daytona and look on page 3 for the entry by Steve (SMG914) and see a pic of his 914. His is a special color for 914 and he thinks it is the only one .

I can't find anything matching those numbers. Sahara beige looks more yellow according to the chart on the 912 website: http://www.912registry.org/restore/pcode.htm
plus, the number is 516-9-1. Have a look at the colors there and see if anything resembles it. The other option is to have the shop scan the paint then mix to match.

It's not Sahara Beige. I've had two Sahara Beige 911's. Dan in Pas has one now. Maybe he'll post a pic. It may be Bamboo though...

This is Sahara Beige and even though most agree this color does not photograph very accurately, as you can see it is actually yellow and not "beige" at all.
I think that color is beige gray too. My car, 1976S: ![]() Another that is a little closer to the actual color of Sahara: ![]()

There is a web site out there that has tons of pictures of 911s in different colors. I can't seem to find the link. I have the one for Boxsters and some 996s, and the 356 one, but can't find the 911 one.
