Most of these boards have capacity limits for uploading photos. Maybe you have exceeded your limit with previous posts and need to delete old ones?

I know that a few months back I had to change over to a "cut-and-paste" method to attach pics rather than the direct way I USED to do it. Maybe you could try that.

didn't work on explorer too.

Hope I do not have to delete my pics; especially my Crystal Cove posts...

I cheat .

I use photobucket and they generate image codes for you . I left click image code and it is copied and then right click and paste code here , I added a space after and before the (IMG) so you can see what it looks like .

This is what the photo looks like
,
( Mid-Ohio vintage races )

They also give you code for email and im , direct link and html code .

Might be a round about way for some but I find it to be rather fast .

I'm having the same problem, I'm not even getting the cut and paste option anymore. I'm using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.9. Something flashes real quick then I go back to the form where I enter my text.

Try this; go to User CP on the upper left in the blue line. Click on that. Under Control Panel you will see Settings and Options, under that click on Edit Options. At the bottom of that page under Misc. Options, scroll to and select "Standard Editor-Extra formatting controls" and then click on "save".

See if this helps you to post photos again. I had this same problem when Wayne swithed to the new server. Hope it works!

I have been having the same problem, I have tried both Firefox and IE, played with all the settings I could and have gone so far as to uninstall the firewall and virus protection...same effect.

The message I get is

"You did not enter a filename or you attempted to upload an empty file. Please go back and try the upload again."

I most definitely have a filename and I can see the images on my machine, still does not work.

I have retried until I am blue in the fingers, no effect..

What is going on here?

Dennis

Jerry,

You are DA MAN. That fix worked for me as well.

So as a treat, here is the rarest Porsche race car I've ever seen. Stretched 908 chassis with a normally aspirated 16 cylinder. I understood this was a test mule prior to the 917 to test this engine combination.

charleskieffner, Did you click on "Save settings" at the bottom of the page after you made the change? Try it one more time and see what happens. This time make sure your "cookies" are turned on before you try it again.
This is just a guess on my part as I don't know what Operating System you are using. With 3,000+ posts you should email Wayne and he should be able to help out, too.

Jerry
