Rough Running

1988 930 is missing on different cylinders, blowing smoke and oil is coming from the exhaust tip, i have yet to do a compression test on it.... I am starting to think it might be sealing rings. Any help is appreciated...

I had the same problem with my '70 911. I put some Marvel Mystery Motor Oil in the gas and after 50 miles the engine started running better and after 100 miles, everthing was back to normal.
good luck

Oil from exhaust tips

944dan,
Don't drive your car until you have a mechanic look at this. Oil coming from the exhaust tips with smoke could be a very worn valve guide(s), but most likely a broken oil wiper ring in a cylinder. This is very serious.
Let us know.
