Do we need to use a Recaro leather upolstery kit or can a good upolsterer recover mine from scratch?

Wondering where I am going to take my Recaros to get re-done, and if/where I am going to order the leather.

Any good auto upholsterer can re-cover your seats. It all depends on the material you plan to use. If you're trying for an exact match to your existing covers then "maybe" you should deal with Recaro but, if you're looking for something very close then I suggest you get in touch with an auto upholstery supply house and ask them who they think is the best upholsterer in their area. Tons of different leather is available and samples can be had for your comprison to your original seat covers.
