Silver is fastest!!!

BTW, your car does look low on the front end and wearing high heels. Just adjustment?

The car actually sits pretty level It's at 24.5 inches front and rear. You're right though, the angle does make it look butt high. Got a set of 16" Fuchs (thanks Jack) on a UPS headed this way. I'll have to see what that does to the height.

Oil leak - not a big deal, heard they all leak a little. Besides, Mobil 1 is cheap. Got a case in the trunk, maybe that's why it sits that way. Aahaaa!

Police dude was doing some paper work. I just thought it was an interesting photo op.

Mark,

I believe that to get the car to sit level, the front fender measurements should be about a half inch higher than the rear.

BTW, I really like 911's in silver. Especially that dark metalic (looks like lead) silver.

Mark,

Looks good. About 1 1/2 degrees rake is right for a 911 - it will measure out about the same ground to fender for both front and rear, like your car, that way. Most 911s are more level, but will tend to oversteer more as a result.

From Bruce Anderson

---Clipped from an earlier thread---

in a Tech Q&A in Pano Bruce Anderson answered a question on lowering a 911. It is a very detailed and logical description of the process. He also gives a rule of thumb for height of car at fender lip. (25 inches in the rear and 25.5 inches in the front) He says this will give a "very slight nose down
attitude".

I'll tell you what to do with that car...drive it. That's an unusually beautiful silver color. And I like silver anyway. She's a doll!

Thumbs up

The silver just makes it look like a race car. It's a great color for the early body style -- really makes the aluminum and chrome look great.
