Question How find correct offset

Thinking of bidding on these C2 rims:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=567241116

Seller says he has them in "high" and "low" offsets. I thought offset needs to be specified in mm, not just ordinal magnitude! How can I find out what offset is right for an 88 Carrera? Bentley does not say.

This is purely an educated guess but, in this case I think he means that he has low offset rims which fit early SC/Carrera(typiclly +23mm front and +10-15mm rear) AND high offset(never bothered to memorize because I don't need them offset) for later (post 89 cars)
