Exclamation O2 Sensor Thread Size??

Do any of you know what the thread size is for a standard Bosch O2 sensor?

I need to find a plug for the O2 sensor hole on my SSI's as I am no longer using the O2 sensor. I could just carry my heat exchanger into Ace Hardware I guess, but this would be easier.

Thanks in advance.
Nick.

Nick,

Believe that its the same thread as a spark plug (18mm).... nope, just walked in the gargage and tried a spark plug on my SSI's sitting in the garage and it drops right in. Quite a bit bigger...

If no one knows, let me know and I can take the header to the hardware store and find out for you.

Pegasus Racing sells a blanking plug for the O2 sensor fitting for $10.22 (yikes).

Let us know if this can be sourced out elsewhere for less.

Cool

Just to follow up...

The thread size for the O2 sensor is (drumroll):

M18 x 1.50.

I had to go to a fastener store to find a plug that big, they actually sold me a Toyota truck oil drainplug. But, it works and fits great. Cost with gasket: $2.50.

Nick.
