trick CIS with thermo sensor
As a patch for my low-idle on warm start problem, do you think its wise to have a manual switch to force the oil temp sensor to report a low reading for a few minutes while warming up? Hot and cold starts are great, but warm starts idle on the verge of stalling.

Interesting correlation! I do notice that shortly after starts my head-lights brighten with revving, though I've never noted what temperature the engine was at when I've seen this. When looking at the dome light, what should I be looking for?
... Ahh, so the dome light powers the under-seat relay for the lambda brain. I seem to recall that when I replaced the CDI I noted the PO had disconnected the O2 sensor. Would a faulty/intermittent relay still be a likely culprit? I see a visit to EASY in my near future (never a bad thing!). Babak |
