Show me your of early wheelwell trim???
I'm gathering resto parts for my 71E project. It was originally fitted with "S" deco trim, which must have included the wheel well trim. (I found and removed the rivets while prepping for paint) Does anybody out there have pix showing the wheel well trim. I don't think I've seen this. Is this considered a rare option?
I recently bought a very nice set of the wheelwell trim and put them up with my stash of parts, waiting until I can focus on the trim. Will be a while, after the engine, tranny, interior....etc. Until then, I can look at yours. regards, al

Thanks gents. I think I like it. My 71E is silver and the trim should look great with it. I can't say that I've seen it very often. Was it only available for limited years or......?

My understanding is it was a trim option from 69 through the last year of the narrow bodies, 77,I think. Could be wrong, no matter. It came as part of the S package options, and was standard, I assume, on the S cars.

The wheel arch trim and the S trim are listed as separate line items on my car's CoA.
