liquid transfer tool

what are you guys using to transfer/pump fluids from a container to a trans or something? I am tired of crawling on the floor under what ever part of the car to change trans fluid, or to change the dif fluid in my truck...
Are the $20 long egg beater battery powered ones any good? I would rather spend the "going/right" amount to get the correct unit once and for all!
Thx Bob

I used my pump up brake bleeder which I didn't like for doing the brakes so its now filled with gear lube. Or you can get a 12v oil change kit from any boating place, used for changing oil below deck, they work very well because you can reverse the pump and suck it out too.

i just stuck a garden hose in my tranny, a funnel on the other end. Started pouring standing up beside the car. When it was full I stopped pouring. It was all I had to work with and it seemed to do the job effectively.

Here's my story on how I got mine changed.

When you reach that happy moment that you will add the new oil back into the transmission, jadams1 has a great addition to my funnel method:

915 Trans. Oil Filler......

Picture of my 15-year old home-made 915 trans. oil filler procured from local hardware store. It is so convenient and less messy using a rigid tube than flexible plastic hose that I saved this gadget for my routine trans. oil change.

With all due respects to Pelican's part, Harbor Freight manual transfer pump, <$10.

All the other solutions seem like two-man tools with required gaffer accessories.

I've used a "Mity Vac" hand pump with success.

thanks guys! I think I will try the "Stearns Quick Change Oil Change pump" offered @ discountmarinesupply.com as it uses 12v and I can flip a switch ON or OFF when I want and it appears that I won't be getting dripped on & covered in lovely sulfer stinkin' diff fluid anymore...I hope :-)
I'll let you all know how it goes.
Thanks again and Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays everyone!!
Bob
