Hello all,
After MUCH consideration I am thinking seriously about selling off my current project in parts. It is a 1973 911 with a "rust problem" and I have been investing alot of my time and moneys into the engine, 993 fiberglass body, 18 twist rims, etc.. and am starting to think I should part out the car and use my engine and body on a "more apropreate donor car from the 80's. The car has a really good looking fiberglass wide body kit on it right now but the rest of the body has cancer. Sellable parts include but are not limited to: Hood Doors (No rust) Whale tail front bumper Rear bumper REAR CANTER reflector /W BLACK LETTERING Headlights and the assemblies Seats (ok condition 80's style) Dash VDO gauges all glass 15" fuch style rims in mint condition (bad tires) freshly rebuilt stock brake calipers fenders (some rust) 1980 3.0 with 130 to 115 compression and new muffler drive train -bad trans etc... How much cash do YOU think I can pull out of this car to raise money for a better subect. Let me know, Kenneth www.carwrecks.org |

Hi first off sorry about the rusted car. The main thing is to remember is for all the rust you see there is WAY more!
I can't tell you how much you'll get out of the car, but I'm pretty sure that if you keep it you'll be in for a huge job, or real sorry later ![]() I just sold parts from a 70 Coupe. A lot of times, sorry to say these cars are worth more in parts than a whole. If it were me, I would keep any parts that I was going to use on the next project, and sell off the rest to help finance it. Just my $.02 . Any ideas of what you would like to get out of it? $50 or $20,000, whats your ballpark area? Good Luck Shawn |

Rust is disaster!!!!!
Always way more than you can see....but wait!Is this assemblage a good candidate for a space frame? Could save lots of weight and get a rigid chassis, but if you can weld and design, you could have a real track machine! |
