Thread size on alternator shaft
I have a 72 911E with a Motorola distributor. I managed to bugger up the threads on the shaft removing the fan from the alternator. I want to chase these threads and clean them up with a metric thread cutter. Does anyone know the size of these threads on the shaft, i.e., what size nut goes on the shaft? Thanks.
