Exhaust inserts for Laguna Seca
I got black flagged (twice) last time at Laguna Seca. If I take the hill between 5 and 6 in 3rd gear I'm at 93.5 dB. I saw these Dynatech inserts at Jegs. They will deflect sound away from the booth and also have a noise reducing cone insert. What do you think? Anybody use them?
![]() The Turn Down is expanded to slip over collector outlet or tailpipe (but welding or bolting is a recommended mounting method). Greater sound reduction can be achieved by directing the outlet away from meter or sound test point. U-tab mounting hardware included.

That should help. The cone will reduce the dB and the angle will divert the sound path. Looks like a nice solution.

We had similar bends made at a muffler shop. We had to pinch the ends in several places and put a piece of foam over the engine to make sound at Laguna.
