We met a new member of our group. He has a beautiful Carrera, and truthfully, has a lot of great ideas/projects in the works. Lots of titanium bits coming forth soon. Look at his muffler which he designed, and built locally. Note the bracket:
I can't imagine a nicer way to run wires:

Apparently Dallas is the only place with sunshine today.

Thought I'd better get my photo's on the board as well. Really enjoyed meeting everyone and hope we can do this more often.
Really builds my confidence as a Porsche owner to know there is a wealth of talent out there when you need to call on someone!!! [img]![]()

I don't know the guy but it looks like he (or someone he knows) has access and experience to mills or even better toys.

I think we're gonna be trying to have a get together down here in Austin on the 21st, so I hear from one of the local p-car guys.
HOPEFULLY I'll have Stinky running by then!!

The individual that concocted the wire clamps has several other things he's working on. He's got access to some nice machinist and welding talents. Not available for purchase as of yet, but I truly think we'll see some nice stuff hit the market in the future.
Did someone say Texas sunSHINE?

Those are some great pictures but what I was really impressed with is the blue sky , it's been so long since I've seen anything like that I almost forgot what it looked like . Mid West living is an experience .

Nice pics, Ed! Thanks!
Ditto on the "blue sky". We haven't seen it for quite awhile.

Heck, we've had sunshine and almost 80 degree weather for the last few days here. Beautiful weather for driving the p-car... if I can only get it running...

I think Ed Hughes is way out ahead of the crowd with his retro 70's looking Carrera. I've seen his car at DE's and really feel like he's captured the early 911 spirit in a modern 911. You've got the R gruppe and RS crowd, but could the retro Carrera be the beginning of new movement?
