Lindsey Wheels - Need Advice!!

I've seen pics of 911s with "Lindsey" wheels mounted....I'm planning on getting a set of Lindsey P2s 17 x 8 & 17 x 9 1/2 or Fikse FM10s 17 x 8 & 17 x 9 1/2....is the below link the place to get the "Lindsey" wheels?

If so, has anyone had any experience with Lindsey Racing and how was the experience?

Which wheels are lighter, the "Lindseys" or the Fikses? I know the Fikses weigh around 17lbs a piece....my car is for street 99.9% of the time, with some DE here and there.

http://www.lindseyracing.com

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes - that's the link - Mike Lindsay is a heck of a guy = he will take care of you -

http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LR&Category_Code=WHEELSLINDSEY

Jack has countless track days on his lindsays - many people run them on the track - they are light and well put together. I doubt you would have any issues.

As far as Fiske or Lindsays? More a personal choice - the fiske's may be a pound or two lighter. But I would also consider kodiak wheels (jeff alton carries them) or ccw wheels -

Wow! Lindseys have gone UP in price in a very short time. I remember Jack saying he got his for under 2k if i recall correct.
Now they are:
17" P2 WHEEL PAINTED
Code: P21
Price: $625.00
Quantity in Basket: none

I do like them.. though. If they are as good as everyone says.. I guess that it pays for itself.

Lindsey Wheels look phenomenal and Mike is a great guy to deal with.

Prices are going up as core 16' Fuchs are getting more difficult to find.

I agree with Jeremy about the alternatives, especially Kodiak... they are supposedly the lighest of the bunch.

Here is a couple of pics of my car with the Lindseys

Or... Rota Fox 7.5 X 17 and 9 X 17. $1,200/set.

I have Fikse FM10's as well. I love the look of the Fikses. Just my opinion, but I think the Rota's look better than the Lindsey's and they are less than half the price.

I do like the Rota too.

The design was implemented with the 17" diameter in mind as opposed to the Lindseys.

They are also readily avaliable whilst I think you need to wait 3-4 months for your Lindseys.

With the Lindseys you get total flexibility in dimensions though and wider wheels....

Lindseys!

I put Lindseys on my backdated Carrera. They are lovely.

I purchased 16X6 Fuchs and send them to Mike. He then built my P2s.

I think they look better on an early car than the Fikses.

What is that finish?
Matteo, your car is truly amazing. I know you must hear it all the time, but I can't help but say it again. Congratulations.

I live in Oklahoma City. I have known Mike Lindsey for many years. I have been to his shop and his home many times. He is a stand up guy with a great product.

I don't have any financial ties to Mike's company. The only thing I can say that even is slightly negative is that he stays so busy at work we don't get to see him at the club events as much.
