Prepping my fender well - What do I remove?
I would like to prep my fender well (clean, strip, POR15, etc.)
1.) What do I need to remove (YELLOW area), and once removed, when I place the components back will it just be a bolt back on job? 2.) What are these lines for (marked RED). This is a Sportomatic 911T, without a oil cooler. Are the lines for a.) AC b.) fuel evaporator system c.) sportomatic (something?) Thanks.

Perhaps you mixed the colors in your question?
Obviously the 'Yellow' is front strut/shock, sway bar end, etc. I would remove the sway bar ends and cover the rest in newspaper and tape/seal while cleaning and painting/undercoating the rest. The 'Red' lines appear to me to be A/C lines? Trace them out (to the unit in the smugglers box) in front ...and to the back (compressor?) Gonna be work to disconnect them and remove (you'll lose gas fill) and be cautious... they are under high pressure! May want to leave them, clean/paint/undercoat with the rest of the fender-well?

those struts look pretty beat - you might remove them and either replace after painting or de-rust and repaint the shroud if you are sure they are good

The red lines are definitely AC. I removed mine from my '73 so no fuzz on that but regardless you should not have to remove them just for cleaning I wouldn't think. Once the whole wheel well has been cleaned if you can't work around them you might remove the clamps and carefully mask and then paint around the area. The clamps are easiest to clean when removed anyway.

I did, and just edited my original post (thanks).
Ok, I'll trace the "red" lines, if it is the AC no problem (that hasn't worked in years). As far as the yellow, detach the sway bar, and maybe the strut? Anything else? I want to grind the well down to bare metal.

One other thing, when you remove the old AC lines you will probably cut them in sections to simplify the removal process. Don't be alarmed (like I was at first) when you see some oil dripping out. It's the AC lubrication oil and it's normal...
