10mm fuel check valve?
Has anyone been able to source a 10mm fuel pump check valve (both pump and banjo sides are 10mm). Seems the 76/77 911’s used the 10mm while the other years used a 12mm. The one our host sells is the 12mm. I’ve included a couple older pictures from previous posts to better illustrate the issue.

The 77 to 79 used an internal check valve in the pump. As I recall the banjo is larger than the external check of the later SCs and Carreras

Try loading the pic again. One pic was too large to load.

For whatever reason the pics seem to not be loading. I have a 77 turbo in a 75 911S, the rear fuel pump may be the original for the 75, but regardless it is the type with the outlet in the side of the pump and a 10mm banjo fitting. No check valve on the pump. Car runs great but if I leave it for a couple hours after a run it doesn’t want to start until it cools right down and the csv kicks in again. Classic failed or on my case lack of check valve symptom I’ve read. Thanks.

I have read on a previous thread that a 944 check valve should be 10mm dia threads at each end, but I cannot confirm this.
If anyone else can that would be great as I would get a couple as a back up.

I’ve read the same but so far all the 944 check valves I’ve found have been the 12mm size. Still searching though.

John,
The banjo fitting with the check valve inside is 911-608-901-00-OEM on Pelican for the pump shown below. ![]() If this is the pump you are using, I find it hard to believe that the 930 CIS injection runs properly. Stock 930's had two fuel pumps, one at the front and one at the rear. CIS system pressure is a lot higher for 930's, around 6 bar and a higher flow rate is needed than is required for 911 CIS. A 930 can run on a single Bosch 044 pump, but most people still run the front pump with it.

Yup, that’s the pump I’m running in the rear. I have another pump in the front as well. Thanks for the banjo check valve number. Much appreciated.
