I caught the part where you hinted this was a pallet prototype, otherwise I would have asked, "How does drivetrain power get to the snow?" or is that a minor detail at this point?
I'm very curious though. What's in the boxes? And your new years resolution is .................. Sherwood |

Pretty funny. I've pulled similar gags and if no one else laughs, I still do. |
What did you drink last night!

I wasn't drinking...
A friend in Fla bought a 2.2 / sporto package (all the ancillaries are in the boxes) and between the time the shipping got organized, and the motor was strapped to the pallet, I had 3 ft of snow over a week and a half. The shipping company that I use won't bring a truck smaller than 14 ft, and that won't fit under the telephone lines at the end of my driveway. In the summertime I can force a piano dolley out the 500ft driveway. In the wintertime, I have to resort to getting something through the snow using alternative techniques. So, I built the snow mobile to haul things to the end of the driveway. :D

OK, now you're pushing it. ;) Or, would that be pulling it? :D

cool!!!
Man, you're gonna make Red Green jealous. Although you do need more duct tape......

I'd save up for a carbon fiber pallet - MAJOR gain in lightness to be had there!

So are you through with the skis or did they ship with the pallet? Better yet, have any skates I can borrow? My '72 needs some help getting out of the garage so I can make progress on the '81. The alleyway is snowpacked to the point of almost being sheet ice which doesn't bode well for RA1s with nearly no tread left. I can only imagine the resulting bodywork from ping-ponging off the fences and dumpsters when trying to navigate the alley.

Cabin fever already, and it's only January.

I really love the 'stealth' tread implementation. I can't even see them!

I think you're gonna have trouble with the trademark infringements?
Absolutely nuts; great humor! Santa brought me two new 800's; almost killed myself on New Years Day!!! |
Have you had that thing corner balanced?
|
I don't think Butzi has anything to worry about!
