Targa Top Question? Can they be backdated?
Can a 86-89 911 Targa Top with Roller Latches be backdated to work on 74 -85 cars with hook style latches?
Comparing photos of both tops it looks like the front expansion arm (Vertical Frame) containing the latches could be swapped to allow the new top to work on an older car. Has any one tried this? -Arron

Don't know, but why?
Sell the roller latch top for at the very least double, maybe three times what a early top will cost. |
