I don't know, but the language/spelling used is hilarious.

"Clunk case overhaul

Clunk shaft check"

Seems possible that it could be a CTR Yellowbird. Remember that Ruf added a bit to the Carrera flares, but not enough to make them "Turbo-ish" in dimesion. Also remember that Ruf used the NACA ducts only on the first few cars (or maybe just the first one) and then eliminated them because they found the ducts were not performing they way they should- actually had a negative effect I believe?

But that front valance is not the true Ruf part I recall. I only recall Ruf using a front bumper cap that implemented fog lights and not brake ducts. Maybe they eventually evolved into brake ducts, but not on the original CTR Yellowbird.

It looks like a custom-ordered CTR.

The engine and rear bumper are correct, but the front bumper isn't identical to the Yellow Bird. In addition, the seats are heavy-looking power units...

I don't know what these cars are worth, but the starting bid of $167K seems a bit steep.

It's a nice car, but no "Yellow Bird."

Please define a "Yellow Bird"...

Ruff cars were ordered off a menu. No two were the same. It looks like a lot of boxes were ticked on this one. Note the period correct cassette player and 930 SE inspired centre console.... Nice car and I even like the colour.

I like the Alcatran trim on the dash and door cards. But I can't see any evidence of the integrated roll bar.

Is that a six speed knob on the shifter?

There were two, if I recall correctly, "original" RUF CTR "Yellow Bird" vehicles. They were the first two produced. Both have the NACA ducts, Recaro seats, and roll cages. Each is nearly identical in specification... very lightweight and aerodynamic.

Check out the pictures:

Although the following production models were authentic and serious kick-ass RUF CTR models (minus NACA ducts), they were not "Yellow Bird."

I agree with the above.
And if I may add, those seats kinda hurt my eyes, no way they are standard RUF issue.

They look like high end Recaros... I like them because they're kinda 80s cool.

I'd have the car as is. (I'm 44...lol)

"inline six"

Now that I'll have to see...

Glad it's got new "break pads" because they break pretty often.
