Post Interior Rear Deck--Can Someone Take a Pic for Me?

When I bought my car, the rear deck upholstry was missing. This is the "tray" where the foldable seatbacks snap to and the rear speakers mount. I am currently looking for a new (used) one, but am not sure what exactly I am looking for. I have seen a couple of versions of this part on E-Bay and at used parts suppliers.

I was wondering if one of you with an SC or Early Carrera coupe could snap a picture and post it (or e-mail it to me) so I can be sure I get the correct one.

Thanks in advance!
Nick.

Thanks,

Nick,
My 83SC had a "home made" rear speaker deck
when I got the car.The story I was told is the car was broken into and had the stereo stolen, the rear speaker deck was stolen along with the stereo. The P.O. had a new stereo installed BUT a new rear speaker deck was very expensive so he had one made! The new Performance Products catalog has them.
I tried to find one used with no luck,I tried all the used Porsche places I could find, like in the back of Pano and Excellence.I was willing to take any color,I looked for 2 or 3 months with no luck.I eventually had my "home made" deck re-done so it is not as bad as it was though it still is not factory by any means. The ones in the new Performance catalog look really nice,I'm considering one but money is tight right now and my A/C needs to be re-charged ( I still use R-12 )ouch!!!!
Good luck with your search !
oh, yea.... be sure you get a coupe cause the Targa one is different ! ( I have a Targa )

The deck covers sold in the Performance catalog are probibly made by Original fit interiors, who have an ad in Excellence Magazine at a lower price. Underneath the cover, though, is a thick foam or rubber pad (in case you didn't know). Actually, one could easily fabricate the cover to look entirely original.
