Engine Cradle used during engine removal
I looked over many many posts, I did some searches but I can't find a good picture of the wooden cradles people have used, without the engine sitting on it.
Can you post some pictures of your empty engine cradle? Where do you touch the engine, where do you center the jack under it? Did you used a ATV jack? How'd it work? I.e. would you use it again? Thank you.

I use a funiture dolly, you can pick one up @ Home Depot or a harware store for under $25.00. All it is a a frame with caster on all four corners, you could make one out of some 2x4's. I just sit the engine on it with the heat exchangers resting on the frame work of the dolly

I use the adapter that fits into my floor jack, I think Pelican sells it. Perfectly balances and engine and transmission. It has been lent out a few times too and those who use it love it.
cheers
