86 Carerra air conditioning short?

summers here and getting very hot so its time to try and fix my a/c.
it keeps blowing fuses especially when you give it a bit of gas so was wondering if anyone knows if there is anywhere obvious to start looking before i take it into an auto electrician

You must be on the other side of the world to have summer issues this time of year.

It will help all of us if you mentioned just what type of Porsche you have. It helps to know exactly what type of Porsche it is before we can guess at a cause of a problem.
