I need to get the correct hex head size to loosen the nuts on both ends of the rocker shaft on a 81 911 Thanks Frank

Frank, the large side is 8mm and the other is 5mm

Also, the 8mm allen wrench needs to be short or cut shorter on the business end to fit into the recess on the front and rearmost cylinders.
A 1/4" drive 5mm hex socket on 1/4 " ratchet or breaker bar works best on those. If you can't find one of those easily you can cut a short piece off of a 5mm allen head wrench and slide it, or glue it, or braze it into a 5mm 1/4" drive socket and use that. |
