A/C Help in Dallas/Ft Worth

So I moved from LA to Dallas and I have spent one summer without A/C. It was brutally humid. (And they tell me it was an easy summer.) So I have decided to go down the slippery road of going thru my A/C system. I had various parts replaced, one hose and one evaporator (used), only for it to leak yet again. So I'm just going to go for it and do the whole kit. Probably the rennaire kit. Do you guys know of anyone in Dallas or Fort Worth that does some custom work on A/C systems? I might try tackling it myself, but it's just so much time. I met a guy at a southwest car show who said he has a shop that can build a custom system for me, but I cant seem to find his business card! so maybe he's reading this right now...if so shoot me an email! davidhaan@gmail.com.

So if anyone knows of any good shops in dallas to get my A/C re-worked lemme know!!!

Thanks!

You might just contact the guys at Rennaire, they are just down the road in Austin.

You probably were speaking to Jim Lenington of Dallas Eurocar. He does a lot of AC work and has old fashon R12.

Another local source is Zim's Autotechnik. 800-356-2964. They sell/install AC upgrade kits. Al Zim and his shop have a good rep among the PCA folks in DFW.

Definitely talk to Jim at Dallas Eurocar. He's very involved with ac upgrades and seems to know what he's talking about.
