transmission fluid level

I want to check the level of the transmission fluid in my 73 911 T. the car is on jack stands on the rear torshion bars. Will the angle if the car effect the level of the fluid reading ?

Yes it will. You should have the car as level as possible.

Use your pinky to "feel" the level at the fill plug. It should be at the top of the threads. I use a small flexible LED light to see into the fill plug hole as best I can as well as using my finger.
