Hello all, here is a pic. of the books that I have for working on my 1972T Targa, 2.7 - weber carbs.

Do I have everything? Is there something that you have found useful that you would add?

1972-73 illustrated factory parts catalog (paper copy) - has exploded diagrams of car with every part and part number. It is sometimes more useful than the shop manuals. The paper catalogs of this vintage have far more data (such as all particulars of a fastener) than the later electronic CD parts catalogs. Start watching eBay.

The photo did not show a HUGE STACK OF CASH to feed it

I don't see a copper tube soldering "how-to" manual from Home Depot there. :p:D

I have many of those, but no factory manual set (although I do have the Bentley manual) for my '79 SC and what I can't find in the books, I can most always find here in the forums.

I will second what Jim Sims said.

You will want the Vol. I and II of the Factory Workshop Manual. Vol 3-6 assume you have them and don’t describe those procedures – only the differences.

The Bentley for the SC will have similar info presented differently.

The “Technical Information” booklet for ’72 might prove useful but I think everything is in the WS Manual and the Spec Book.

I'm getting by with the Haynes service manual book & Wayne's 101 book thus far, plus random things I've printed out...but I'm going to step up and get the Weber carb book and perhaps the Haynes resto one.
