Porsche Crest a new little frenchy in the 911 Forum

Hi all guys,

just a little topic to making my presentation.

first excuses me for my bad english, but i work all day to be better.

my 911 is a 2.7 of 1974 year, we come back in europe after a long period in Oregon and i start just after the buying to restore in all origin.

in second time i have made a website to recense all 2.7 of 1974 to 1977 who drive around the world.

my site is www.2l7registry.com, it's not a forum just a little static website to count all 2.7.

so if you have a 2.7 you can register your beauty in the website

the website is in english and in french

if you have no 2.7 you can visit the website too, and see the picture of my restoration

Welcome!

Great to see yet another European on the forum! We need more. Don´t worry about the language. These guys have been wonderfully patient and amicable toward me despite my Swenglish. The Spell Check button is my best friend.

Bienvenue!

Do the 2.7L motors have a reputation for pulling studs, etc. en France?

Salut et bienvenue !

Counting all the 2.7s is quite a job ! If it works out you'll have a pretty popular website.

Did you meet Steve Weiner to buy a 2.7l in Oregon ?
If I remember correctly he has one and that was enough to convince me those can be really good cars. (but I bought a 76 3.0 instead)

Good luck with your website.

Hi Guys

thanks for the reception.

to Joe Payne,

Yes the yellow headlights make your beauty a very french touch but an alodtimer french touch becaus enow this color is fogootten for headlight in France

to RWebb,

yes like you said in France the 2L7 have a reputation for pulling studs, and piss some oil, but like i said she's not piss some oils .....she mark her territory.
the 2L7 have a very bad reputation, but all guy who have one is ares o in love with their beauty that thay not listen to all legend.

to ZEF

I'm from Lille in the north of France (near Reims and the champagne !!!!!!)

To PaulPorsche

The "TU" is for friend and familly and the "VOUS" is for the person you see the fisrt time or for your boss.... but in this forum we're all friends and in the 911familly so the "TU" is obligatory ...i think
But in France we've a joke who said like in all French movies "you can said me TU but just after make love" because all caracters in movies said "Vous ...Vous ...Vous..." and after the bed said "tu....tu ....tu ....."

For larry,

very beautiful Targa, i wait for your registery in www.2l7registry.com

For tabasco

no i never meet your friend in oregon, because i have buy my 911 in France with a man who make car importation of US (mustang, corvette and some porsche)

and i never visit the united states it's a dream because i love your country and all in states, but i promise to make a travel a day.

for Tibetan ad all friends

before when she leave in states

in restoration

an today but not finish
